Get the App
Buckeye Golf League installs straight from your browser. It is free, takes about ten seconds, and there is nothing to download from the App Store or Google Play.
iPhone & iPad
- 1Open Safari (not Chrome) and go to buckeyegolfleague.com
- 2Tap the Share button, the square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen
- 3Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen
- 4Tap Add in the top right corner
The BGL icon appears on your home screen and opens full screen. Installing on iPhone is also required before score and event notifications can be turned on.
Android
- 1Open Chrome and go to buckeyegolfleague.com
- 2Tap the three dot menu in the top right corner
- 3Tap Install app, or Add to Home screen if that is what your phone shows
- 4Confirm with Install or Add
Many Android phones also pop up an install banner at the bottom of the screen. Tapping that does the same thing.
Common questions
- I searched the App Store and could not find it.
- That is expected. Buckeye Golf League is a web app that installs from the website itself, so it never appears in the App Store or Google Play.
- Does it cost anything or take up space?
- No cost, and it uses a fraction of the space of a normal app.
- Do I have to sign in again?
- You may need to sign in once inside the installed app. After that it stays signed in.
